“I write on behalf of my team to thank you, your organisation and employees for the help and support you gave Mr W. and his family in his final illness. His wish was to die in his own home but this was only possible because of the care you were able to give him. I had some brief contact with your primary carers and was impressed by their skill and caring attitude; our district nurses who saw much more of them endorse this wholeheartedly. You should be justly proud of the role you played in the care Mr W. received and the good memories his family have of his final days of life.”

They treated our parents with love and respect and made their last year in their own home possible. The brilliant team they had at the end were both caring and courageous and went far beyond what might have been expected. I admire them all for their dedication and compassion. “I simply cannot express my gratitude enough to your wonderful loving and truly expert team of carers who looked after R. during his last week, some of whom have sent me cards themselves – L, S & S who was by his side when he actually died. It is not easy suddenly to come into someone’s home to look after someone who is so sick without having experienced the household before. They were superb ‘fitters in’, and whatever anxiety I may have felt that week, it certainly wasn’t about his physical well-being.”

I have grown into what I perceive as a capable and caring health promoter, experiencing all areas of nursing care which has provided a great asset whilst I have been studying for my Adult General Nursing qualification. Once again a huge thank you to all the team at Everycare that have helped guide me along the start of my nursing career and pathway.”

“I am writing with respect to the late Mrs H. for whom your nurses cared during her recent illness.
You will already know that Mrs H. died yesterday, but I think it is very important that you know how highly everyone involved with Mrs H. thinks of the nursing staff that looked after her during her final weeks. Whilst all of the nurses that I thanked personally were at pains to point out that they were only doing their job, I am equally keen to point out that that they all went far beyond my expectations in terms of their care, attention to detail and insistence on maintaining Mrs H’s dignity to the very last. For all this Mrs H’s many friends are extremely grateful. Whilst it is probably wrong to single out any particular individuals, I think that both S. and J. were exemplary. Indeed, when we ere having trouble obtaining the correct drugs and administering systems on Saturday, S. drove, of her own accord, to get a syringe driver from a hospice in order that Mrs H. could have the appropriate drugs administered. Likewise, J. returned the equipment to the same hospice and both these journeys were made in their own time. In summary, you have every reason to be extremely proud of the nurses that work for Everycare and please accept my grateful thanks.”

“M. worked for us from ………. to ………… Please could you pass on to Everycare how very pleased all my staff were with his professional attitude and flexibility and ability to work well within our team. It is not often that staff from agencies excel within an already established team and I would like M. to know how impressed we were with him. I would like this to be passed on to M. if possible.”

The new friendships forged have been invaluable, to improve R’s sense of worth and maintain his love of ornithology. Everyone involved with our care package has worked diligently, professionally and with an unlimited depth of understanding of our needs, which is very much appreciated. We anticipate occasionally using your service, for R. to visit the migrating birds over Portland Bill. Our sincere gratitude to you.”
