Palliative Care

We have a specially trained, highly professional team dedicated to the care of the terminally ill within their own home. Such care may solely be provided by Health Care Assistants or may be an amalgam of HCA’s and Registered Nurses.

We recognise that the very nature of such care requires special skills and great understanding and sensitivity, not only for the client’s needs but also for family and friends.

Palliative care always requires more intensive monitoring by our care management team, so that the changing needs of the client are recognised and accommodated. It also requires especially close liaison with other professionals such as specialist palliative nurses, community nurses, GP’s etc.
