About Everycare

The company head office is located within the centre of the county town of Dorchester. We have a wide range of administrative facilities, including dedicated interview, study and training rooms and a comprehensive IT facility.

Everycare (Wessex) started operating in March 1997 as part of the Everycare Franchise Group. Having functioned for some 9 years as a partnership owned and managed by Stuart and Lorrie Truelove, the company became incorporated in 2006 to enable it to meet the future challenges of this continually evolving industry.

The principal executive team comprises:-

Stuart Truelove is the Managing Director. He is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Professional Trainer and is on the executive of the Dorchester and District Chamber of Commerce. Lorrie Truelove is a Director and the Registered Manager for both the Nursing Agency and the Domiciliary Care Agency. In addition to her NVQ Level 4 Registered Manager (Adults) award she holds CPCAB certification in Counselling Skills.

Our Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for interviewing nursing staff, staff appraisals, assessing and reviewing any services provided involving registered nurses, and dealing with any medical or clinical issues arising. The Nurse Manager also becomes involved in other more intensive domiciliary care provision, especially those relating to palliative care.

We maintain a dedicated management team within our head office, most of whom have been promoted from our care work force.

Our Environmental Commitment

LIke most businesses we use substantial quantities of paper and other consumables. It is company policy to always endeavour to purchase such goods from sustainable sources and to dispose of any ensuing waste in an environmentally friendly manner. Most of our waste paper is shredded for security purposes and sent for recycling.

We have a policy of sourcing services and equipment from local businesses and suppliers wherever practically possible, thereby minimising our carbon footprint and supporting our local business community.
